Tonight I emailed my cousins in the Netherlands. Marja and George will meet us at Schiphol when we arrive on July 13. We will stay with them for three nights. For the fourth night, we will stay with my cousin Betty who lives in Amsterdam. On Wednesday July 17th, she will take us to the port where we will start our river cruise on the Viking Odin Ship.
We will cruise with Odin for 15 days or 14 nights. Included in this package are 13 excursions. We start in Amsterdam and spend quite a few days and nights cruising the rivers of Germany and Austria.
What impressed me about the Viking cruises is that they only had 190 passengers on board. It gives you the opportunity to meet people and to perhaps establish a relationship. One couple who suggested this cruise to us was John Flack. John and his wife will also be on the same cruise. John and I have worked together in the Langley School district. I am looking forward to the summer and Tony and I are planning for our departure in July.
