A Sailing Day : Thursday July 25, 2013

We have had a sailing day to try to catch back up to schedule. The lock strikes and slow downs make it hard to sail down in any fast way. 

This is what a lock looks like through our port window. It gets really dark when you are in the middle of one.

These are the number of locks we are supposed to go through on the Main/Danube canal way.

On deck watching the river go by. I read and sat on deck most of the day.

Lunch on deck. The food has been super.

Tea time at 3:30pm. The pastry chef does a good job.

Waiting to go through the  lock. Hopefully tomorrow will be faster.
