July 21, The City of Miltenberg

We slept in this morning. Rich food, late nights, lots of wine, after a while it adds up. We arrived in Miltenberg at 2:30. Beer in the square, a late afternoon walk to a church and cemetery and a beer in the square. Yes the beer in Germany is fabulous . There are many local brews. 

     

The city is quaint , small and today everything was closed because it was Sunday . We managed to buy ice cream and of course beer .

      

We caught the ship at 7:00 pm . We sailed up the  Maine towards another Bavarian town tomorrow. Dinner on board was lovely. Lobster, crab and cod,at the end the cheese plate. The food is great. I know that I will gain weight.
