Wednesday July 22, 2015 Lyon and sailing to Vienne.

Our morning walk.
A roadside market.

Irene could not resist buying these flowers.
Tony checking out the toilets .
Art in the skateboard parks.

Lunch on the terrace as we sail down the river in Provence.
The new museum of natural history.
Some local music.
Tastes of Provence for lunch.
So much cheese.....
And desserts!
Salads, and also duck and lamb.
The umbrellas give shade and protection against the water from the lock gates.
Arriving for the little train ride that goes up the hill.

A local cemetery .
The view from the top.Vienne has many Roman ruins. People just built the ruins into as a part of their homes.
The roman amphitheater was being prepared for a Santana concert.
The church at the top of the hill.

Beautiful doors.
Another church?
Roman ruins everywhere.
A local street.
The local gothic church.

Many pieces were broken off in the Middle Ages.
Dinner was delicious again. We tried the frog legs as an appetizer. After dinner there was a "dance" in the lounge. Maureen and Irene won a bottle of wine. Another busy day.
